Explain Intersecting Circles

Introduction:

In mathematics Intersecting circles means the point where two circles meet or cross. When we taking lines, the two lines of geometric quadratic equations graphs intersect exactly at one point. In this situation, the given concurrent equations have a unique solution namely the co-ordinates of the intersecting point.

An intersection graph is a graph in which every vertex is associated with a set and in which vertices’ are associated by ends whenever the corresponding sets have a nonempty intersection. When the sets are geometric objects, the answer is a geometric graph.

Intersection of Two Circle:

Let us see the intersection of two circles. Let the two circles be overlapping each other at a point. These two circles area are intersect at particular point. No need that the two circle have the same radius for the intersection. Let us see the figure for the intersection of two circles and formula to be used for the intersection of two circles.

Formula – Intersection of two Circles

The general equation of circle:

(x - h)2 + (y - k)2 = r2, where h, k is the centre of the circle

X2 + y2 + 2gx + 2fy + c = 0, where centre is (-g, -f) and radius is square root of g2 + f2 – c.
