Introduction to diameter of a circumference:

Its deals with the diameter and the circumference and the problem related to it.

Definition of diameter:

Diameter is the line which is longest in the circle that passes through the center of the circle. Diameter of the circle is 2 times of the radius of the circle.

Circumference:

Circumference is known as the distance around the circle.

Both are measured in the units (diameter and the circumference) (like cm, m) etc.

When there is diameter of the circle is given, the formula to find the circumference of the circle is

Hence units = Circumference of the circle

The value of is 3.14

Example :

1. When the diameter is 10 cm ,find the circumference of the circle
   

Solution:

Diameter of the circle is 10cm

Circumference of the circle is pi*d units Take a Step Forward to math

= (3.14)*10

= 31.4 cm.

Circumference of the circle is 31.4 c
